Birthday Card for a Boy.

Well, it's been a long week! I don't seem to have got any crafting done at all, except for this very quick and simple card. It's for my daughter's friend who is 10 on Sunday, and I was a bit stumped to begin with. I made my way to my favourite shop Flutterby Crafts in Thatcham and bought some yummy papers by 3 Bugs in a Rug, and a co-ordinating sheet of Die-cuts called playtime.

I layered the stripy paper onto some Core'dinations (raspberry I think), and cut a label in the same colour using my nesties labels one. I layered a die-cut from the sheet onto the label, and added some screw effect brads to 2 corners.

I stamped the number 10 in Soot Black distress ink onto some cardstock that I had coloured with a promarker (Grey Green) and cut using my circle nesties. Layered it onto a circle of core'dinations card and added some of the brads.

Finally I stamped a star border by Stamp-it onto some green Bazzill in Weathered Wood distress ink and popped it onto some foam dimensionals.

I am entering it into Creative Belli Blog Challenge which is to use a die-cut on your card.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

Well, this is a mighty creative card for someone who is "stumped"! It's perfect for the occasion and I'm sure your daughter's friend will really enjoy it!

Faboulous card - but I am biased because it is for my boy and currently has pride of place on my mantle piece!!
