I'm again leaving it a tad late for WMSC, and I have literally rustled this up this morning for one of my children's teachers! It's the last day of school here, and they don't return until the 7th September! I just hope it doesn't rain as much as it has this week - we are sodden!
Below are the sketch and colour inspiration from the Cafe - this week it's a colour splash, my fave! And today I have gone for blue, don't know why, but I fancied a hint of blue!

And here's my take:

I have used a white pearlescent card base, and a pearlescent bazzill panel which has been embossed with Swiss Dots. The deges were slightly distressed with Dew Drop chalk ink in Aspen Mist.

Then using some doily stamps from Waltzingmouse Stamps Dainty Doilies - Large, stamped a panel on white card using Tuxedo Black and Distress Ink Tumbled Glass.
Cut to size and mounted this onto the swiss dot embossed panel.
The label is from WMS Holiday Labels 14 and hand trimmed to fit inside the blue labels 14 mat I had cut using my nesties.
The sentiments are from Frame - it!, and inside the card I have added the 'fabby' sentiment from Frame-it! too, I love these font styles!

That's all from me, I'm off out to do a last bit of me-time shopping and a coffee in town!

Pauline - this is fabulous - your children have lucky teachers!! Love the colours, the layout is super. Brilliant.
Thanks so much for your comment on my FYI Card - it is reasonably new challenge - I found it a couple of weeks ago - and I really like it! Check it out - the inspiration photos are fab!
Oh MY, Pauline, I LOVE how you stamped those doilies! The little pop of blue with the black outline makes for a stunning design. So clever how you stamped the sentiments, just beautiful!
Love it, Pauline! Beautiful stamping! The WM doilies are so pretty!
Me-time shopping...ah, there's nothing like it! I am loving your die cuts and those dainty doilies. :) So glad you found time to play with us at The Cafe, Pauline. And, thanks for visiting my blog recently, too. I always love when you visit! Hugs to you. :)
Love your card - those doilies are so cute with the blue accent ;)
Have a great weekend. At least the weather forecast is looking up! Rx
Pauline: Great Card! I'm sure the teacher absolutely loved her card. Love the splash of blue too.
Well the teacher will love it. And so do I. This is a briliant way to use your doily stamps from WM and I love the way you combined these challenges. And nailed them both :)
Gorgeous!
Perfect stamping, as usual from you, Pauline. Love those WM doilies! Great take on the challenge!
I hope the weather bucks up for you, Pauline. It's bad here too, but I don't have kids to amuse for six weeks anymore. My son was born in July, and I think I can count on one hand the amount of times he had good weather on his birthday. You don't expect weather like this in July x
Ah so lovely, Pauline! Love all the doilies, so pretty! The hint of blue works perfectly...great job!
Fantastic card, Pauline! Love it!
