So I pulled out one of my new faves, Art Deco Backgrounds! I stamped the 'rainbow' background in red, green and embossed gold (although I am having problems with the embossing not taking - it shows up matt rather than shiny), and hand trimmed around the curved bottoms.
I layered them onto some Cherry Cobbler card, with a mat of Lucky Limeade. I then stamped the sentiment from Nutcracker Sweet in Cherry Cobbler ink, and edged with some decorative bits from the Art Deco Backgrounds set. Before adhering to the base, I added some green ribbon, which I thought matched the geometric style of the Art Deco, with it's little black squares.
I may go back to the drawing board with this, as it doesn't look like I had planned!

Excellent choice of stamp set for this challenge - I totally hadn't thought of this one for Christmas but I'm going to have a play now! I'm not sure what you had in your head but I like what you made :-D
