Hi all, I'm here today with a card for this month's Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog. This month the theme is Shades of Grey, and the Design team have been asked to create something that means something to us!
I am a coffee addict. I can't start the day without at least two large cups of coffee. And I love meeting up with friends for a gossip with a coffee! So I chose to use this lovely image from the Table for Two cling set.
I used some grey patterned papers as a background, and cut a fancy border in silver mirri card, which I layered onto some dark grey card.
I stamped the image in London Fog, and cut using a fancy circle die, then layered this onto some dark grey scalloped card. The grey twill bow was created using the ribbon from my Mother's Day bouquet, which we celebrated here in the U.K last Sunday.
Inside I stamped the matching sentiment, and added a pearl brad to the bow.
And finally I added some punched butterflies and some metallic chrome gems.

So pretty Pauline - I need to find better ways to say that, but it's true, you never disappoint. The fancy die cuts and silver accents make this so elegant. Beautiful!
This is lovely, Pauline! The framing, the butterflies and mirror card border are fabulous! My DH is a coffee addict, so I understand, lol. I like a cup in the AM but 1 is all I can handle...otherwise I'll be on the ceiling, lol.

This is a really nice card Pauline. I too need a few cups of coffee to start my day. It help keep me from walking into things. It also eliminates the need for toothpicks. (ouch)
