Hi everyone, well, it's Saturday, and the sun is actually shining woo-hoo! Makes a welcome change! I made a card last night and I am now glad that I waited until today to take some pics.
I recently got some new to me stamps from Bee Crafty. They have a stamp line influenced by the works of Banksy, and they are fab! When I saw this little girl, reaching for her balloon, I had to have it!
I had a Brusho background made with Lime, Sea Green and Purple Brushos, and first stamped the sentiment and embossed in black.
I then stamped and embossed in black the little girl and her balloon either side of the sentiment, and then felt the background needed something else.
So I stamped the bubble background around the edge in Versamark and silver embossed. I then mat and layered with some blue and black card, and that was it! I love the colours of the Brushos against the stark outlines of the images and sentiment.
I would like to enter this into the following challenge:
That's Crafty - Bright and bold
Simon Says Stamp - Anything goes
Well that's all from me today, as I am off out to make the most of the sun while it lasts!
Thanks for stopping by,
Pauline
