PDCC 101

Evening all! A very quick post from me tonight as I'm getting this in just under the wire for The Play Date Cafe Challenge, which ends tonight.

Here's this week's colour story:

Wine, smudge, leather parchment. Well, I won't lie to you, I found this quite a difficult challenge!

I have made a card using some borrowed Papertrey Ink stamps and dies, from Ruby McGuire herself! I promise you will get them back Ruby honest!!

The background panel has been embossed with a woodgrain folder from Crafts Too, and the pretty flowers stamped with Colorbox Cherry Red, which was the closest I could get to a wine colour.

The dark grey ribbon is a colour akin to smudge (I hope!) and the kraft label and Sahara sand distressing around it's edge are representing leather and parchment!

I have added some parchment and wine pearls for some shimmer, and the sentiment is stamped in Distress Ink Weathered Wood.

That's all from me as my internet is very patchy right now!

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Harvest Berries, Think Big Favourites 3 - Papertrey Ink

Inks: Colorbox Cherry Red, Distress Ink Weathered Wood; Versamagic Chalk Ink Sahara Sand.

Paper: White Linen card base, white Core'dinations; kraft card.

Other: Wood embossing folder - Crafts Too; Seam Binding - The Ribbon Reel; Wine and Parchment pearls from stash.

Thanks for stopping by,

Pauline
