This week we are looking for.....
Landscapes in your creations!
I will admit, I am not terribly good at these type of cards, I just can't think of Landscapes or scenes!
I gave it a go, using my Teeny Trees set from Waltzingmouse Stamps, and Frame It, using the masking method.
I used a variety of inks to create the hills, trees, leaves and the little bird.
I added a piece of Twisted Burlap Cord in Olive from The Ribbon Reel, one of our sponsors for this week.
Here are our generous sponsors for this week:
Copic Marker Scrapbooking
* 6 copic ciao marker (North/South America), Martha Stewart punch (rest of the world)
The Ribbon Reel - £10 Gift Voucher to use in store
Pink Cat Studio
* Winner’s Choice of 5 Digis
I would like to enter in to the following challenges:
St. Lukes Charity Cards Challenge
One Stop Craft Challenge
Papercrafting Journey
Papertake Weekly
Thanks for stopping by,
Pauline

Pauline I am bowled over by this card - it is absolutely stunning in every detail! Those cute puffy hills, the little trees, that tiny bird, the frame, the colours... I love it to bits! Vicky x
Striking card. Very clean & fresh. love it. x
Love this card, the landscape is fantastic and the faming of this one layer card is perfect.
What do you mean you are not good at these kinds of cards--it's perfect.
It's beautifully done! Love the simple little touches like the colors on the hills and the few leaves peeking out of the box.
Doesn't look like you had any trouble here... I love the little framed scene, clever idea to use the solid ovals as hills.... I'm going to have to case this :0)
Thanks for entering your card at St Luke's too :0)

I love this card Pauline - you are super talented - you can go layers and all frilly or keep it one layer like this one - and they always look beautiful! I love all the green - it looks so fresh!

You may not like landscapes, but it's a lovely, lovely card. The simplicity of the design suits it to a tee. The burlap cord (as opposed to ribbon)suits a more 'rugged' mood and gives great texture.
Pauline - I think you nailed the landscape theme (I'm still thinking). Love the way you've made it a one layer card too! Great work. Thanks for playing along with St Luke's Charity Card Challenge!
Pauline, I love the little scene you've created with the WM stamps! Great way to conquer that challenge :)
I love this one Pauline, the way you stamped those little hills and filled up that whole frame with you scene. You do fabulously with creating "scenes"!
