Hi all, today we have a new challenge at DYSU, and the theme is a favourite of mine - Birthdays!
So take inspiration from the picture, and create a card for a birthday.
This week I have used a sweet image from The Stamps of Life, called Birthday for Cookie.

Awe Cookie's so sweet, Pauline. Our son's dog is called Cookie, but she's a big softie Bull Mastiff. You coloured her beautifully, lovely shading...I love her sweet bow, too x

I can't believe you colored this with pencils, Pauline! It is really good, great shading. Such a cute little puppy image and the flowers really add a whimsical touch to it, perfect for a birthday theme.

I love that soft look with the pencils Pauline. Quite different to markers and much more painterly. Just takes a bit more effort than markers I suppose. Such a cute card - a bit of brown added to Cookie's face would turn him into our Tinker and a perfect card for my niece's birthday on Monday!
