Anyway, today is the 17th of the month, which means its the Waltzingmouse Blog Party. We have 24 hours to upload our creations for this month's theme of 'Lucky' which is highly appropriate as today is of course Saint Patrick's Day. If you don't have any WMS stamps, Claire has some freebies in her store, so well worth popping over for a browse, there's still time to join the fun!
And here is my creation - a Centre-Step card, of which I cannot get enough of at the moment!
I have used the Celtic Heritage set for my stamping today, and I must confess I don't use this nearly enough. The shield design is one of my favourite WMS images, so elegant and plenty of space for a larger sentiment, or embellishments.
I used some kraft card for my base, and my favourite colours of the moment, Wisteria Wonder and Certainly Celery from Stampin' Up!. Love them! I stamped the Celtic scroll for the sides in Wisteria Wonder ink onto the same shade card, and for the centre panel the half celtic 'moon'.
The shield is stamped in Memento Espresso Truffle ink, and the sentiment is from WMS Say it With Style in Wisteria Wonder ink.
I finished off the card with some ruffled crochet lace by Papermania Vintage Notes Lace Borders with a wrap of Purple Plum Baker's Twine from The Ribbon Reel, topped off with some Satin pleated ribbon in Certainly Celery from Stampin' Up!. Finally I added some green clear gems for that all important sparkle!

Oh my this is such a great set to showcase with this card design, Pauline! I love the shield taking center stage. The front panel is perfect for your lovely pleated ribbons and lace. The bright colors really pop against the soft wisteria! See, so many details to take in...can't stop looking!
