Less is More, Charisma Cardz

Hi all today I have a card for the fab new challenge blog Less is more. This week they want to see our spring creations, so I made this:

I'm also entering this into Charisma Cardz which wants spring creations too.

I have used a white linen card base, and stamped the circle image from Waltzingmouse Stamps Vintage Circles in a lilac ink that was my first ever ink pad from Tesco of all places!

Stamped the sentiment from the Spring Baskets set in the same ink, and stamped the little butterflies and bees in Distress inks Weathered Wood, Victorian Velvet and Milled Lavender.

Stamped the flower image also from the same stamp set, coloured with Promarkers and cut out: I actually made two of these, but decided Less is more ha ha!!

Well it's raining cats and dogs here, and I've got 3 kids to entertain!

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Pauline xx

Morning Pauline - another early start to this challenge!!

I really like the soft, subtle colours in your Spring card - using my favourite rodent stamps!! The texture in the linen card shows through - it's a beautiful card.

Great card! Love the soft colours you've used, they're just perfect for a spring theme. And that hammered/textured cardstock goes so well, too.

Hi Pauline,
My Printer is a Cannon MP640 it has a back paper feed as well for smaller sized card envelopes etc. Much better when feeding card. I had to play around a bit with my paper size as it's not really standard......Just local scrapbook store card size (here 1/2 an A4 sheet) It would be 200grm card I think. I found Chrissy;s tutorial excellent!!!Hope this helps.

A great interpretation of the Spring theme, lovely pastel colours and great stamps.

Tesco have a great craft section as do TKMaxx if you can find where they have hidden them, lol:-) Oh yes, Dunhelm Mill now has craft items for sale too. Larger stores have better selection of items.
Take care:-)
