SSCB #18 - Polka Dots or Gingham

Hi all, it's time for another new challenge over at Serendipity Stamps challenge Blog! This fortnight we would like to see either Gingham or Polka dots on your creations - or even both!
Edited to add: as this fits this weeks Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger Challenge I am entering this card in to this challenge.
I chose to go with both! For my card I used the lovely Tea Service Cling set, colouring the image in pencils. I mounted the image onto a Spellbinder die-cut, and added some elegant pearls.

I used some pale blue polka dot paper for backing, and stamped the sentiment also from Serendipity Stamps shop in black directly onto it. I then used two strips of pink gingham ribbon either side of some sheer pink chiffon (difficult to see in the photo, but you can see it in real life) then topped with some cream daisy lace. I also added some tiny pink pearls to the lace

Inside I simply stamped the sentiment from the cling set directly to the card base.

I really like how elegant this turned out!
Do stop by the Challenge Blog for some more inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by,
Pauline
