CR84FN 56

Morning all, today brings us another fresh colour challenge from CR84FN!
This week, we have the wonderful colour combo of Yellow, Grey and Neutral. The photos are courtesy of Style Me Pretty, it's full of pretty pics and inspiration.

I have made a Get Well card for a friend, just to let her know that I'm thinking of her.

I used very Vanilla card stock for the small square, and layered the beautiful Filigree Heart from Serendipity Stamps sent to me by my lovely blog friend Jeanne Jachna. Thank you Jeanne, it really is a beautiful die cut.

I layered the Vanilla card onto some matt textured silver card from Papermania Christmas stack, and
the backing papers are from My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline range Howdy Doody stack. I love these papers!

I added some glamour dust to the cut out bits in the heart, and on the flowers, although it's difficult to see in the pics, it's very sparkly in real life.

The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse stamps Fancy Phrases set.

I stitched around the edges in grey thread, and layered some Pewter silky crush and chevron twill in Champagne, both from The Ribbon Reel.

I layered a white doily from Cheery Lynn designs under the ribbons.

The little spray of flowers are a mix of some small roses from my stash, and a yellow rose and two cream cherry blossoms from The Ribbon Reel. The little leaves are punched using a Woodware punch.

Please stop by the rest of the wonderful D.T for some beautiful inspiration!

What a beautiful and elegant card Pauline. I think you outdid yourself with that gorgeous silver heart. I love how you also used that doily in the background, those doilies always add such a soft and pretty touch to a card. Love the colors this week, I'm planning on playing along with this one! Thanks for the inspiration.
