DYSU #75 - Paper Piecing

Hi all, I'm back today with a new challenge over at DYSU. This week, we would like to see some Paper Piecing on your creations.

As a memeber of the D.T, we are lucky to have some sponsor images to play with, and I chose this sweet image called Attitude Jessie from Rhoda Design Studio.

I paper pieced her using some papers from a Dovecraft paper stack called Tea Party.

I cut her out with Nestabilities Labels 14, and highlighted the embossed edge with a Promarker.

I used a Martha Stewart edge punch on some stripy paper, and created a backing panel, layering onto some Certainly Celery card, and wrapping some green ribbon and a bow around the middle.

I added the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps in Rich Cocoa - this card is for a friend that I have lost touch with, so I thought a sweet 'hello' would be good for this card, especially in that fun font.

Finally, I added some gems for some sparkle.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown - Friendship

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Top Tip Tuesday - Sparkles Galore

Party Time Tuesdays - Shiny & Sparkly

Here Our sponsors this week:

Digis Showcased by the D.T

 $15 Gift Certificate

Winner's Choice of 3 Digis

Thanks for stopping by,

Pauline

Your paper piecing is absolutely amazing. You must have incredible, tiny scissors. I'd like an outfit like that cute gal's.
