The Ribbon Reel #30

Hi all, I.m back today with another new challenge from The Ribbon Reel, and this week we have some yummy colours and inspiration for you!

Keilly has set the challenge this week, and is asking that we use the colours from the photo, and some ribbon or lace.

I've made a card using some beautiful papers from Cosmo Cricket, Tea for Two from The Ribbon Reel shop. I covered a square card base with the vintage rose patterned paper, then cut a panel in the stripy pattern, edged with some Sheer Box Pleat ribbon in Red, and added some Prima Alencon 15mm lace, both from The Ribbon Reel Shop.

I then stamped the label, Very Vintage Labels 5 and sentiment, Afternoon Tea Sentiments from Waltzingmouse Stamps, and cut with nesties. The little chipboard tea cup is from the co-ordinating chipboard range Tea for Two by Cosmo Cricket, also from The Ribbon Reel.

I love this coffee coloured lace! I have sprinkled a little glamour dust behind the lace, where the glue strip is, and is very hard to photograph - but it's so sparkly in real life.

Finally I added a cream and pink Tea Rose and a Peppermint Bakers Twine bow, both from The Ribbon Reel, and a couple of red pearls from stash.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Craft Your Days Away - Bingo - I have used Pearls, Lace and Glitter

The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop -  Lots of layers

Craft Your Passions - anything goes

The Ribbon Girls - Use Ribbon or Lace

We are also very excited to find that our Teamie Debbie Marcinkiewicz has made it to the final 15 in Gallery Idol!! Go Debbie!! Do stop by the Gallery Idol page, and give Debbie some love! All the entrants have a very deserved place, and to get this far out of 2000 entrants I believe is quite an achievement.

Thanks for stopping by today,

Pauline

This is so pretty. I love how you incorporated ribbon, and lace, and twine--wow. And that flower is so pretty. You did a great job mixing patterned papers, too.
