DYSU #64 - Plaid

Morning all, today brings us another challenge from DYSU, and this week we would like to see your creations containing some PLAID!



This week I have two cards to share, using images generously donated by two of our sponsors.

My first card contains a sweet little fairy from Pink Gem Designs, called Faye with Flowers.



I printed her off, and cut using Blossoms Nestabilities, then coloured with Promarkers. I used some pretty papers from Trimcraft called Spring Drop, I can't seem to stop using them! One of the patterns contained this pretty pastel plaid pattern, result!




I then cut an orange Blossom for the sentiment, using paper from the smae stack, and used a piece of the off cut to create a little banner topped with a cherry blossom.




Finally I added some gems and a gingham bow topped with another white cherry blossom.


For my second card, I have used an image called Toby With flower from Crafty Sentiments.



Using the same paper stack, but in slightly different colours, I cut and coloured him with Promarkers, and stamped my own plaid using my trusty Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Finally layered all together, added some gems and a WMS sentiment to the smallest blossom, and added a Cherry Blossom mounted onto a double pink baker's twine bow.
