Less is More, CAS-ual Fridays.

Hi all today I have a card for two CAS challenges- Less is More and the new CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

Less is More want white on white, and CAS Fridays want text.

So with this in mind, I decided to make a card for a wedding we have been invited to at the end of May.

Here's my take:



I have used whire pearlescent cardstock, and run it through the Cuttlebug with a text folder.
Then cut a circular window using Nestabilities circles sml.


Cut a sentiment label using Spellbinders fancy labels, but shortened the tag by following Chrissie's tutorial from the other week - it worked like a dream! Stamp the Mr & Mrs with a Papermania stamp from their Anniversary set in silver ink and threaded it onto some white chiffon and added some tiny white pearls.


The rose is a Sissix die cut which was one of my first purchases 18 months ago when I got my Cuttlebug, and I have hardly used it! I decoupaged the rose 3 times for some depth, and added a little white pearl to the centre.

This is clean and simple for me, and it's my first time making a white on white card - I like the effect and it's perfect for weddings!
