Hi all, today I have a card for the Ribbon Reel Challenge #1, my first challenge as a member of the Design Team 'squeak!' and it's a colour challenge:

What yummy colours! They are so summery and cheery, and make for a very colourful card!

The butterfly is a stamp from Wild Rose Studio, stamped in Distress Ink Worn Lipstick, and hand cut. I then layered this onto a frame from Waltzingmouse stamps Very Vintage Circles stamped in Distress Ink Tumbled Glass, cut with Nestabilities Circles Sml, and layered a polka dot die cut on top, which was cut using a Nellie Snellen Die.
The smaller butterfly is from the same stamp set and stamped in Memento Pear Tart.

The layered seam binding and polka dot ribbon is of course from The Ribbon Reel, as is the yellow baker's twine threaded through the button, and the green twine antennae.

The little tag, is from Waltzingmouse Stamps Afternoon Tea and is stamped in Pear Tart. The sentiment is also from Waltzingmouse Stamps Teeny Trees in Dew Drop Pearlescent Sky Blue.
The gorgeous patterned paper is Bunny Love from Best Creation Inc, layered onto some polka dot paper from wild Rose Studio which has been edged with a Martha Stewart heart punch, and blue Bazzill.

Finally added some Liquid pearls to the butterfly wings and a little rose to the middle of the butterfly, and some green candy dots from Craftwork Cards to the corners. I also added a yellow tassle to the seam binding bow.
This challenge runs for two weeks and entries to be posted by 11.59 pm GMT Sunday 15th May.
Please link your entry only, not your blog or multiple listings, and please link back to The Ribbon Reel Challenge Blog. You can enter as many times as you like, with as many other challenges as you like. If you are unsure, please see challenge rules HERE.
I really hope you get to play along with us this week, thanks for stopping by,
Pauline xx
