ColourQ #120, Paperplay Challenge

Evening all! I made a card today after much deliberating and faffing about, with several ideas thrown on the craftroom flor! Mr. Mojo has left the building I'm afraid, but I was determined to join the fun over at ColourQ this week. I've had my eye on this challenge for a little while now, being introduced to this particular challenge by my Blog Buddy Deborah Frings. Deborah always rocks the colour combo's at this challenge, and she has inspired me to join in the fun!

Here are this week's colours:

And here's my take:

I have kept a Clean and Simple design, as all my other ideas just didn't work!

I've used a lovely floral panel by Hero Arts, and coloured in the flowers in the co-ordinating colours using Promarkers.

I wrapped some beautiful brocade ribbon in the nearest colour to Rich Razzleberry I could find, and stamped a simple 'Thanks' sentiment also from Hero Arts. I coloured the sentiment in with a Burgundy Promarker, and the flowers were coloured using Maroon, Aegean and Lilac.

Finally, I added some blue gems to the flower centres for some sparkle.

I'm also entering this into Paperplay Challenges.

Hope you're all having a fab weekend, thanks for stopping by,

Pauline
