WMSC #81 and a few Challenges!

Hi all, today I have a card for The Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge. I have been using some beautiful papers from Echo Park this week, but you will have to wait to see what I've made :-) as it's for some D.T projects. As I had the left-overs, I thought I'd use them with this week's fab sketch:

And here's my take:

I've used a white petal point card base, and layered a stitched panel in matt silver card with some of the Echo Park Yours Truly paper.

I then cut a scallopped square in the same silver matt, and layered some of the E.P. paper using the text side - it makes for interesting reading, it looks like old love letters sent from servicemen to their wives/sweethearts during the Second World War, and is very touching. I then stitched a frame in grey thread twice to create a frame, and coloured this with a grey Promarker.

I then created another frame, this time using scalloped ovals and standard oval from Spellbinders, and added the stamped and hand cut basket of hearts. The hearts were stamped using WMS Sweethearts set in Distress Ink Barn Door.

I then wrapped some red chiffon and red bakers Twine around the panel, and added a bow, a fancy brad, and some tags made using Papertrey Ink's Tiny Tags set.

Finally added a tiny black gem to the sentiment heart, and some red gems to the petal point edge.

I am also entering this into the following challenges:

The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop

Paperplay Challenge

Cupcake Craft Challenge

Really Reasonable Ribbons Challenge

I love that you used the Sweethearts set to fill the basket! What a great use for combining stamps set! I wish I had thought of doing the same. And I just love the patterned paper.
