Another Card for a few challenges!

Hi all, today I have another card for a few challenges lol! It's a bright cheery card, partly inspired by the colour combo at The Ribbon Reel Challenge and the inspiration from the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog. I have used 5 different types of ribbon and lace, but it was all from my stash and I couldn't tell you where I got it from!

Here's the inspiration pics:

So, this morning, I took my photos, uploaded them and found them too dark. Now I know that you can adjust pictures, make them light and so on, but I have always been too afraid...very afraid lol! So today, I have taken this bull by the horns and decided to try and adjust my pics somehow. I did it, but not terribly well, so I think I'll just have to practice practice!

I have used a cream card base, and layered some pink bazzill and papers from Melissa Frances and Wild Rose Studio on top.

This next pic is the one I am least happy with - too over exposed or lightened.

The frame is a Nellie Snellen die, and the stamped circle is a Waltzingmouse Stamp from theVictorian Frippery set. The sentiment is also from WMS and is from Say it with Style set.

The butterflies are stamps from Wild Rose Studio, in Memento Pear Tart and Canteloupe. Then added some peachy pearls to the butterflies and corners.

Daisy lace, pink satin ribbon and lacy ruffle are all from my stash that I've had for ages.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Paperplay Challenges

Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog

Flutterby Wednesdays

Let's Ink it Up

Thanks for stopping by, I'm now going to have another play with this photo adjusting thing!

Gorgeous card, Pauline! I love the layers and beautiful embellishments. I keep seeing pink and yellow everywhere. It must be a trend I'm clueless about. ;)
