Well, I don't know about you, but I certainly put a teeny bit of weight on over the Christmas break, and the one thing I love, but must try not to indulge myself with is cake. Anyone who knows me knows...I LOVE the cake! The sentiment by WMS 'Can we eat the cake now?' makes me smile, and is very pertinent!

I have made a card using some beautiful paper by My Minds Eye, which I picked up in the New Year Sales!
The cake image and sentiment are by Waltzingmouse Stamps, Eat Cake set. The cake was stamped in Scattered Straw distress ink three times, and decoupaged up.

I then cut three labels using Nestabilities 5 and adhered the cake to one, and stamped the sentiment in the other after colouring the middle of the smaller one with Scattered Straw.

In the middle, I have layered some Cream Silky ribbon with a PTI Victorian Border die cut - I used two negatives for this curvy base, and layered some stripy ribbon on top. Both ribbons are from The Ribbon Reel shop.
Finally added some Prima gold dusted flowers, and some bling.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Paperplay Challenge
Stamptacular Sunday
Birthday Sundaes

Do stop by my fellow team mates for some wonderful inspiration over at The Ribbon Reel Challenge Blog!

Wow--this is such a pretty card. I love what you have done with this set--good for me to get ideas, as I only have 2 WM sets so far, and this is one of them! You did such a really nice job of matching all those different patterns together.
I also love cake! Your card is a beauty and still enjoy eating a piece of cake!
